Coinbase announces the extension of its partnership with the football club Borussia Dortmund (BVB) – the ‘23/‘24 runner-up of the Champions League. Coinbase has been a partner of the club since August 2022, but mostly used the brand and the media of the BVB in Germany.

Now their partnership has expanded geographically to cover Europe and Singapore, reflecting the club’s ever-growing global status.

This season, Coinbase and BVB will go to market in a number of new ways. Together, both companies will partner to produce fan events, co-branded advertising and custom social content on BVB’s social channels. They will also continue to collaborate on easy-to-use blockchain-based activations for fans, demonstrating the utility of crypto. Additionally, Coinbase will leverage the BVB brand through its own marketing channels, including its website, social media, and email marketing. 

As before, Coinbase will continue to bring BVB fans closer to their favourite team by offering exclusive VIP tickets for top games, such as those against Bayern, Leverkusen, and Stuttgart, as well as autographed jerseys in various sweepstakes.
